Hola pues les doy la mas grande bienvenida a este blogg y empezare con uno de los mas grandes del ska el señor Alton Nehemiah Ellis que en paz descanse a su reciente muerte apenas en este año del 2008 murio a causa de un cancer en londres descansa en paz 1938-2008.

Alton Nahemiah Ellis nacido en uno de los barrios de kingston jamaica en el año de 1938 el empezo a grabar en el año de 1959 el cual gustaba de hacer temas poderosos contra la vida delectiva de los rude boys uno de ellos fue Blessings of love pero cuando ellis brillo fue en la epoca del rocksteady con uno de sus temas que se convirtio en todo un exito el cual fue Get ready-rock steady.

Alton se dedico a temas de amor como Girl I've got a date, I'm just a guy y I'm still in love despues hizo temas de conciencia como Deliver us y Back to Africa esto fua a principios de los 70` el señor Alton llego al reino unido en el año de 1972 donde se veneraba su album llamado Mr. Soul of Jamaica, quien mas tarde puso su tienda de discos llamado Alltone Records.
